Im going out to SLC from april 2-9. Wondering which place is best place to ski. Dont want too crowded and needs to have easier terrain for my pops and brother. right now brighton is looking like my choice with a day trip to bird/alta. any advice on places to go?

and to those who ski brighton, what are some good pow runs that dont usually involve cliffs (pops is a bit on the older side, haha)

i would go for brighton less gnarly terrain but still tons of fun far right lift is chilll less cliffy runs

Slap on some skins and a beacon and sample everything! There is super mellow touring in USA bowl and the likes, it is very safe as well. You can get everything from Guardsmans pass to Alta, and further on down the canyon.

If you're tryin to ski park, head up to PC or canyons, your bother and dad will have a good time if they are beginners/intermediate and you'll get to ski bomb ass parks.

99% snowboarders... many of which have the attitude that it's still 1996 and skiers are all old men in one pieces. The park is fun sometimes, but don't go there for park. IF you want park go to PC or Canyons. Solitude might by a good option too.... no one skis there so it's not crowded, but the terrain and snow are the same as elsewhere. it's be a good place for your first day to keep it mellow.

Full of good vibes and friendly people all willing to shred! Just bring more good vibes and be ready for a fun time and you will fit right in! But don't come here for world class park, just world class people who love to shred.

i'd prolly recommend brighton too, its a well rounded resort. the park is just about havin fun, nothin serious like pc. definetly go pc if you want all park. for all mountain/terrain go alta/snowbird. brighton is kinda a mix of everything

ok, so as of now it looks like im going to get the week pass or whatever for all 4 resorts in cottonwood canyon. and just ski one mountain each day

The SLC Super Pass is a pretty good deal at only $56 a day with access to Utahs transportation system.

Although I still think I am going to have to rent a vehicle to really get around out there...
