Brighton 4/14-4/20

hey thought everyone might wanna know that brighton is doin half off lift tickets this week if you have a season pass to another resort. that is all.
 
last time i was at brighton was probably 3 weeks ago, they were better than they were in dec/jan by far, but still not that great. decent though. worth riding.
 
yeah i went there about a week ago and they had improved. Bertha still sucks, but the jump line on my o my is not that bad. Also, candyland was actually sort of fun to hit, and they had a sick up-down box thing set up. They also had two street style rails up at the bottom.
 
was there on friday, it was kind of a pow day so I didnt do too much in the park, maybe 2 runs at most. Jumps are small, but fun? I dont know i didnt like them but my snowboard friend was stoked on them. Id say biggest is like 25. Not as many cool jibs as I expected, some good ones, but some fucked up set ups to a few.
 
i guess. i went up today, showed em my canyons pass, and they gave me a lift ticket half off.
 
^^^well i cant imagine how you didnt like it... we got over 600" and had some of the most rediculous pow days ever this year... and if either of you got your brighton pass to ride park, then your both very very silly... brighton has so much terrain that is unrivaled by any other resort, and besides solitude, noone holds pow as well after storms as brighton does (god i love lazy snowboarders).... i had over 100+ days at brighton this year and loved every second of it
 
u probably just dont like skiing then if you couldnt have fun brighton and wish you didnt get a pass.seriously pow is stashed for days if you know where to go and if you not lazy to do some hiking.the park isnt bad at all there arnt any big jumps but the rail setups are fun as fuck. you must be a major bitch if you really regret get a brighton pass.
 
fer sure dude, this was my first year at brighton and i used to go no where but Alta. Now Brighton is definitely my favorite place to ski
 
Today was SO fun!

They finally did something with that wall ride at the end of the pipe and it is set up for like an urban wall ride

 
yea... i can understand what you mean, its a bit overwhelming when like 85% of the season pass holders are snowboarders... but you learn to get along... i actually find that the boarders that seem like the biggest bitches towards skiers (even though they all kill it hard) is the park crew... and normally all us skiers roll together...
 
yea...hayden is def chill, but never there so i dont really consider him part of that crew (and he doesnt ever really chill with the rest of the park crew when he is there it seems...).... and yes, chill with dimitri and noone will bother you, for he is like the son of brighton... lol
 
Having a snowboarder grab your skis while you're on a box and trying to rip your legs out from under you has nothing to do with where you ride ahahahaha
 
just wanna say what an epic day it was yesterday... especially the balls to the wall chinese downhill at the end of the day..
