anyone buying a pass? after writing 20 reviws all saying the jump goota get better i am buying pass. i like pc more but im 12 so i cant drive, so i take the bus. there is no bus to pc so i cant get up there as much, but i got a pass to pc also cause it was lik150
I have nothing good to say about brighton, Everytime I've been their park has been horrible. Most of the features weren't even ridable. And the jumps were a complete joke.
I went to brighton last year and liked the mountain out of all the others..
found they had the most "home" felt mountain out there..but funny story
So basically a lot of their boxes dont have any take on's at all and we asked a snowbaorder park crew girl if she could build us a tiny urban lip and she replied "learn how to ollie" so we proceeded to be a dick right back to her.
haha she is actually pretty legit..brightons park is way fun..you learn to deal with everything not having a lip after a while..and sometimes they get pretty creative with how they set things up..i like it..but i spend most my time riding pow.
i think the problem here is that you went to one of the cottonwoods to ski park... that's just outrageous. while i'm not advocating a 12 year old go into the bc, there is plenty of dope, easily accessible, reasonably safe sidecountry at brighton.
the scene in the brighton park is jam packed with magoombas and gypsies all filled with the most skier hate i've seen (including most park crew)..the mountain however is epic and none of the jibrat snowboarders ever venture past the avy gates, so there's never goombas cluttering the traverses (unless it's some skiers hah)
This true, and you can definitely dip out of bounds but i would not recommend that because you are 12. Just be happy with what you have and make the best of it.
i always liked brightons park. it reminds me of my home mountain.
i have heard rumors that brighton wont have a park this year since their park manager went to canyons. again, that is just a rumor and i dont know of it's validity...
if your 12 that means your in school which means you will want to be able to ski nights. brighton has a better night skiing setup then PC in my opinion
yea she tried to get her super hard park crew friend to fight one of my friends on the day of the surface comp...and then the kid denied it when his boss came over, ended up head park crew guy just hated on skiers and took the pass of another friend who tried to stand up for the other skier friend person. good things from those brighton snowboarders.
