yes, Desaparecidos is damn good, but its not as good as Bright Eyes...just look at how many songs conor turned out with Bright Eyes versus Desaparecidos.

Desaparecidos's best song is Greater Omaha id say, but thats really up for grabs...

The only song I've heard is the one in X. Something about wanting to love a drunk man. It's good for Anthony's segment. But I don't know how I might like it otherwise. It just seems a little too crumpled up and left on the desk for me.

i saw them the other week and it was a pretty good show, i don't really care for the new album too much though well one of them, there is digital ash and digital urn which is pretty good and then the other one that came out i don't care so much for :S but ya all and all good show and the openers were pretty good (tilly the wall? and cocoa rosie)

I saw Nate from Bright Eyes at the bar on Friday... They were playing in Toronto... I don't mind 'I'm Wide Awake...' but I can't stand the digital ash album...

I missed it but my Bud went and saw 'A Night With Bright Eyes Lead Singer: what ever his fucking name is...its leaving me'. I guess it was rad, and it was like him...oh yeah CONNER....him, Conner singing folk songs and then they had like a circle with other folk guys and they just carried on for a couple hours. Sounded pretty tight...well Bright Eyes will be around in the next month or so, I'll have to see about going then.

I saw them in a mostly empty wachovia center in philly . . . they seemed ok but people only paid attention when bruce and michael stipe came out to introduce them. I'm think Im gonna get one of the new albums

 
Yeah i just saw bright eyes last weekend in Minneapolis. good show. If the only song you've heard is the one from X (lover i dont have to love) you haven't really heard anything. his other stuff is different a lot of folk inspired music but its all really good. ive heard is 2 new albums that are about to come out and DIGITAL ASH IN A DIGITAL URN is amazing. slitly different sound with a more electronic based music. Really good though. also IM WIDE AWAKE ITS MORNING is just like his other stuff but really really good. check em out when they drop real soon.

Digital Ash is my favorite CD buy I'm wide awake is right up there. it is also real good. my friend saw them and said it was a damn fine concert.
