If anything they should add a few feet before that first kink and make it a longer up, reminds me of carinthia flat rail with triangles on it, things fucked. Someones gotta do backslide, frontslide the handle, backslide the rest.

i’ve hit it you have to gap over the first kink and it’s kinda fun just seems pointless for skiers

This, I've seen a a lot of rails that are just deathtrap, especially if some gaper hits it.
