ya so my dad told me today were goin out west next year prolly Breckinridge.Whats it like out there? good city? o yea will you need like a park pass like Jiminy for the bigger parks? thanks anything else about it just shoot! im so excited and ill have my own videocamera

no park pass, the town is decent, closest big city is denver about 1hr 15 away (with no traffic), its really close to keystone, and not to far from vail, and your pass to breckenridge can be used at all 3 places.

sick park, huge jumps, i got hurt on my first lap thru tho, dislocated thumb 4 weeks ago, and i still have a cast...

I dunno about Breck. Freway is huge, epic and pretty to look at no doubt. But it seems to take way too long to get any where around that mountain especially park runs which are really spread out too far. it seeems the whole bottom of the mountain is all green and they don't call Breckenfridge for nothing. You can get 6 runs at steamboat in the same time it takes for 1 run at Breck.

here is a pic..

no man i dont know what this kid is selling you. lapping the park is easy, plus you get to hit tiger on your way there? havent been to the stone but last year it was pretty wacktastic.

I just got back from Breck. My advice maybe stay in Breck but try not to ski there to much. The town is pretty cool but overall the other mtns in the area are much better and much less crowded. I skied Breck on a monday and the liftlines were about 1/2 hr long and the trail were packed w/ beginner skiers and kids snowplowing all over. Aside from the crowds the mtn wasn't very challening(this is coming from an east coaster) lots of easy blue trails but the runs are really short an dyou end up back on a long ass line very quickly. The parks are hard to get to because all of the liftlines are soooo long. I would recommend going to Keystone. The parks are sick and they are all next to eachother and accessed by one lift so it is easy to lap and there back bowls and groomers are also great.

BRECK is overrated!!

i was at breck mid march and had a great time. A few days it was really crowded at the bottom, but if you stuck to the top half of the mountain, falcon and e chair it was alright. The had big features, but i wasn't there to just ski park we did a lot of other stuff around the mountain too. The hikes we did were awesome, some of the best skiing i have done. I also skied Vail and Abasin which i had great experiences at too, it all depends what you want to ski. I find i ski park enough through the season at home and want to ski more of the mountain and natural featues when i get the chance.

Breck has got some good stuff, its a lot better to go with a friend or two, and hike in the park if the lines are long. stay away from the front of the mountain, its flat and filled with little kids. Countryboy smaller than freeway, but used way less so i would go there, and you can have a real chill and fun run through gold king.

I was at Breck the begining of March. Now I'm not much of a park skier but the Freeway park looked sick. I went through Gold King and it was pretty good. The big reason I went was for the bigger mountain stuff. If you want to lose the beginers head up top and be sure to ride the Imperial Express once it opens. Lots of awesome terrain up there and not many people. Also, definately go to Vail while you are there. Head to the back bowls. You will be amazed at what you find. I skied Vail in 6 inches of fresh and it was awesome. I stayed in the back bowls all day once they opened. Make sure to stay in Breck and travel to the other mountains. Thats what I did. Vail is about 45 minutes away from Breck. I will definately be going back next year too!

Uh Imperial Express is a Gaper Trap unless you hike over to lake shutes and drop the real steep stuff or traverse across to seven

imperial lift is the highes mogal field in america. it fucking suxs a donkey dick. that shit used to be untouched powder and only hiking would get you there.
