Soo my dad and i are trying to figure out where we want to go skiing and we decided on Breck/keystone

We know we can ski both so we are just trying to figure out which town to stay in.

We are noobs to breck keystone so any info would be greatly appreciated

Also, my dad is an intermediate and im an expert, if that matters

i would ski keystone more due to crowds, and from what i hear the rail flow is supposed to be awesome.

i would stay in breck though because there is alot more going on w/ the town and all.

Alright sick thanks and what about the rest of the mountains?

like im going to be skiing with my dad so im not going to be in the park all the time

Keystone has longer runs less crowds and better tree skiing. Breck has Better snow and powder, better above treeline skiing and is a larger and more diverse mountain. what time frame are you looking at going?

i would still say keystone do to crowds.

more runs is always better no matter what/where you are skiing.

what? ever been to windows? For good snow and good terrain go to breckenridge, just not on the weekends cuz it gets super crowder. Keystone for their rails, breck for jumps.

all mountain terrain at breck is better imo, more to explore, always good untouched snow somewhere if you find out where to look for it.

Alright thanks guys now Im wondering which town has better lodging? Like more bang for your buck so to speak.

I would say breck. there is way way more of a night life and things to do after skiing in breck than in key

I would suggest staying in frisco or silverthorne, they're both a quick drive to keystone and breck, it is also a lot cheaper. But if you have the money, Breck is an awesome town, main street has a ton of fun little shops and stuff. The environment at keystone isn't nearly as cool as breck.

did you know keystone has a tree skiing area called the windows, and it is FAR better than brecks windows?

yes i know breck like the back of my hand. IMO keystones trees are better. You ever skied keystone's windows? you just gotta know where to go.

Dillon, where i live is the quietest and idk but i also think its the cheapest. Its also super nice a huge ampitheatre, Right on the lake, great views 15 minutes from keystone. 30 from breck. not much nightlife but if your with your dad idk if you would be going to bars and what not. Dillon is pretty central of the north side of the county. (Locals split the county into two regions. Breck, and The rest of the county north of breck.) There is also a free bus that runs to keystone every 30 minutes and it takes only a little bit longer than driving plus you dont have to park.
