Breckenridge Spring (May) Skiing

Some buddies and myself were supposed to go to Park City and Breckenridge over the winter but some things came up and we had to cancel.

I find myself having a week of off time to play with, and with 5 free days at the CO/UT resorts left on my Epic Tahoe pass; and I saw the Breckenridge will close in May.

Is it worth it for me to make the trek out there for some Spring skiing in April or May? How are the conditions? Or should I just wait and go next winter?

I would like to add that, living out in California, we have Spring skiing usually go well into May anyway (and this year July), so I am not stranger to Spring conditions
 
This is the first year breck will be open past mid april so nobody really knows what to expect. They are only doing it because abasin is leaving the epic pass next season

This. They’re going to have imperial, t bar, and peak 7 open, I’ve heard they’re going to try to keep peak 6 open and build a terrain park on 7
