i skied there quite a long time ago when i was alot younger and i dotn really rember it much, and i was just wondering is there any good backkcountry skiing at Breckenridge?

So SICK!!! I heard something about some guy who backflipped an inbounds cliff already this season!!!

GO BOZ'UP!!!

On the back side of peak 8 the SKY chutes are pretty good when there is a lot of snow, and it takes you right to the parking lot at copper.

Why can't anyone on this site answer a question with some validity, its a simple question if your gonna be an ass then don't respond.

how does skiing off the backside of breck take you to coppers parking lot? thats like 10 miles away...are u including the 6 hour hike?

I was there today and there are lioke four parks its sweet ... im not that good so when i found this little park with just some smallish jumps i was so excited ... i did a 180 of a little one and there was a box and stuff ... there snow was really icey for having just gotten snow or wwhatever ... I coulda swore there were some sponsered guys there cause there were some sickass skiers ... it was sunday fyi

I could be wrong, seeing as though I skied it like 6 years ago and I thought it was the back of breck if I remember correctly. Anyway, they are alot of fun, I skied the K chute far left, gotta be some ample snow to do so though.

haha yeah me and my bro and our friend play "texan or not a texan" all the time. (judging wether or not people are from texas based on there skiing, clothing, and driving styles and abilities. its a great way to pass time.

sure does buddy, take the K or Y chute. Wanna talk about gnarly Colorado avy danger, ski that shit. HA HA. Its a little hike out but many a friend have skiied to Copper, fairly easy.

yeah if you ski the backside of Breck it takes you right to copper all you have to do is hike over a road.

I wouldn't suggest most of the people around here try this...those are seasoned avie chutes. Even if you know what you are doing it's dangerous as hell.

A snowmobiler got burried in I think K chute a few years ago... This is serious avie country.... Don't go unless you know.

Keystone has a lot of hiking terrain, Breck a bit (a lot less now that the new lift is open)...

And yes, Copper is the next mountain to the West of Breck...

I am going out there in like in a few days so hopefully it is good out there. I heard this is the best snow they have had this early in the season in a long ass time.
