Hello people of Colorado. I'm taking a trip to CO to ski Breck with family out there (I'm from Maine and have never skied anything other than the East Coast). My problem is I can choose to go during xmas vacation, or feb. vacation and have no clue which would be better... Which would be a better time to go Park wise? Also is one bussier than the other? +k for answers thanks

xmas will be busier than any time in feb. colorado usually gets a lot of snow around feb-march though.

well by then the park should be fully up and running so I'd say february if you want some fresh snow on the side with smaller (still huge cuz its breck) lines

Come in Feb, not Dec. Skiing will be more affordable, lift lines won't be as crazy, snow pack will be better, and you may even catch a good storm. Park will be good no matter what.

No hate, but I always find it funny how people come West from the East Coast to ski park. East Coasters are always like, "I've never skied a real mountain" and then they come here and ski park instead of the "real mountains".

the best park mtn i've skied is loon or snow and neither of them look comparable to some of the park in the west

they're probably not, but there's also an entire mountain above the park at breck that can and should be explored.

maybe i'm just jaded cuz i'm not much of a park skier.
