Hey NS,My friend and I are taking a trip out to Breck over presidents weekend. We are from the east coast/Berkshire area. I just wanted to know if any of you Breck locals could tell us about some good spots. We know the parks are fucking dope i just wanted to get the best spots for trees, pow, cliffs, ext. things that you guys think are just so much fun to play around in. A nice spot for a booter into pow (not even backcountry just like a nice open glade with a nice Pow and a place for a jump) would be great. Thank you guys so much.

if it was my mountain and I was a local I would not give the location of the best runs to anyone. Or the best places to build a booter, or where the best trees are. do it yourself.

Skiers on NS don't tend to give up their secret powder stashes very easily. You should try TGR.

Id say just make sure you get there on a weekend or holiday around 10 am or so , because there s alot more people and friendly faces! Oh , and if you see a bunch of people waiting at the top of a jump line, just ski past them, wave and hit the jumps ! Make sure you bring your Go Pro and ppl will think you ARE a pro!

i do not live in breck but we take a trip ther every year and my favorite run besides park lane is the trees between peak 8 and 7

um, you are from the east coast and ski pow? haha just playin. seriously though beaver creek just up the road is sweeter than breck, unless you are looking for park. then breck beat almost all.

i for one am a keystone park fan over a breck park fan, call me cray but i like A -51 way better. i also find that there are less people at A-51. and for the rest of that no. gtfo. go adventure that's what its all about.

If i were a local at Breck, and I knew where to go on powder days, I would probably go to the Southside of Peak 10. But thats only if i was a local, and i knew where to go on powder days. Get it?

The fact that you are coming on presidents weekend is your first mistake. All the Summit resorts and Vail are 2X as crowded on presidents weekend. And thats saying something considering how crowded they get on the weekends. Good luck!

Dude ive skied over 50 days at beaver creek its a solid mountain. They have very nice trees and some good pow spots. I skied some sweet pow in the trees over on rose bowl last year when i took my trip thr. But beaver creek is a long way from breck. Ik copper is right the and vail is kida close so if you guys have any sugestions of those. I've skied at vail once or twice so ik some good runs. I skied thr on a pow day and the back bowls were just so much fun to shred.

also as stated above hit the e chair. There are deff. a few good stashes at breck. But also as stated above, its gonna be busy as fuck when your visiting. Good luck.

didnt want to make a new thread so im jacking yours.

anyone knows some cheap n good hotels near breck? im taking a trip there for a month this winter with a couple buds and we're looking for the best spot to crash. thanks for the help!

we found something for 140 a night at 5min of walking from the slopes... is there anything cheaper than that in frisco? cause I know that we'll need to take a bus to get to the slopes every time we'll want to ski from frisco.
