Breck or Key right now for park

She is biased because she works there.

BRECK: Park lane- 6 jumps on 1line

Freeway- Dew Tour slopestyle course (3 huge jumps) all followed by Brecks much-better-than-Keystone's-halfpipe.

9 total jumps, all the rails are nice as hell, and Keystone's halfpipe sucks nuts compared to Breck's every year.

Good luck getting 6 jumps on one line at Keystone too.

By the way, if you are at Breck tomorrow say hey to the kid on the orange JJ"s. I broke my Solly bindings yesterday so I am gonna be on the big skis not doing much until I get my new bindings.

Breck, but if it is busy go to KEY for sure...So much shorter lines and A51 lift is fun to ride just cus you can see people throwing down. The third at Key is a ton of fun, but the first two in freeway are some of the smoothest jumps I have ever hit.

I'd say both are about equal right now just from what people are saying. You can lap Key better with hardly any lines, or go to Breck who has a sick pipe and jumps but with a pain in the ass chair.

Considering 1 run through Breck's park is like 2 through Keystone's, the 3 minute line on Colorado (or no wait on Rocky) is worth it.

That isn't really true, you can hit six jumps in park lane that are all fun, but a bit small. You can't hit both freeway jumps and really anything else other than pipe. You can hit the big jumps at Key, then still get to some rails and that jump at the very bottom...I am sure Breck will put in more rails next to the pipe or something though.

Not quite ready for the HUGE lines at Breck and Keystone but I was wondering which one has the best intermediate line (good for learning 3s/5s without getting really hurt). Take into consideration lapping ability and lines. I'll be doing a lot of skiing mid week so crowds aren't really an issue. Oh, and only concerned about the jumps, don't really do rails or pipe. Thanks.

They are so even it is ridiculous. Key has a three line, then a two line with some rails between, Breck has a slightly smaller three line, then a single hit, then a slightly bigger two line. I would avoid Breck this weekend though as it is going to be packed, but for learning fives, the single hit there is great. If you can make it there before the weekend, I would do that, then do Key on the weekend.

haha dont have to worry about this issue, going to keystone and breck for 3 days this weekend. is all of a51 open for night skiing?

It's fun doing the nocturnal thing once in a while, especially if it is warmer than normal. No lines at all, just you and the mountain.

Jumps Aspen! Jumps! Get away from those crappy boxes. It's supposed to be warm this whole weekend too, hope I can take off a layer and cruise.

Hopefully sometime this next week (not for night riding though). I'm still really sore from when I sprained my knee and wrist last Thursday.

Take it off! HAHA!

Haha, not quite that much taking off.

I will be entirely naked underneath my pants, jacket, and shirt though, so everyone beware.

so i had basically the worst night of night skiing of my life tonight haha. i was trying to work on my rail game, which is extremely lacking, so i was hitting the first urban down box for a while. never hit an urban style rail before, since i hardly ski any park, and the parks i do ski suck. so anyway, after catching my tips on the side, having my feet slide out from under me, etc, i just say fuck it. so i went to hit the metal corrugated culvert, ended up straddling it, and my knees are so fucked now. haha guess i should have taken that advice up there a bit ^

cool story hansel

I skied at the Stone today and I have to admit that the park setup is such a step up from years before. I'm going there tomorrow and Breck on Monday.

sesh'd freeway from 8:30am till 3pm today....so much fun

be nice to see some other cats out there, help push eachother to the next spin

i'll be rockin the black/purp tomorrow

Ill be skking breck tomm. I dont think ill be in the park to much because my ankle is killing me. Ill have blue and brown DNA suit on hollar if you see me.

Not sure if Im headed out tomorrow, and I haven't hit freeway ever in my life.

Down to let a brother follow you in??

fo sho. trust me, once you are used to it, you will never go back to p.lane. those trannys are so short and icky. freeway is just smooth perfection.
