Breaking skis???

If you guys have broken skis do you send them to the company... bring them to a shop... or just send a pic to the company... or just email or call the company. Also what do you do with the bindings on the skis. Like, can you simply have your local shop take them off and put it on new ones.

i hit a tree and snapped a ski (heads) and the dealer just sent them back saying that they broke while on moguls and i got a brand new pair of more value,

I broke a pair of 1080's. I just brought them back to the store and they gave me a pair that was on the shelf, no questions asked. I didn't even need the receipt.

dude thats crazy! maybe we should all just break our skis and get better ones? naw just kidding. very cool.
