Breaking into a Storm Drain

last night me and a few guys went down 'exploring' into this ravine miles away from the nearest streetlight with a couple flashlights.

we stumbled upon this preetty big storm sewer drain thing and we decided that it was just barely big enough for us to slip though the metal cages blocking off any entrances.

we got in and it was like 11 PM so it was like pitch black, cept for our flashlights

the water was like an inch deep for like a couple minutes walking

then it just got dry, so we kept walking, and we timed it

just walking normally, regular speed, we walked for 35 minutes into this sewer, it was actually really sick

im 6 feet and i was bent right over, it was a low ceiling .

we got to this huge round part of the sewer and we kept walking in and as we kept walking it got smaller and smaller,

it got so low, we actually had to crawl through the tunnel

for some reason we kept going?

i was piss scared, thought i was seeing things and freaking out thinking i was getting stuck

but it started getting bigger again

(you know the manholes that are on the streets? we started seeing streetlights shining through the little holes and the sewers.)

so it was like almost 12 and we needed to go back home, so we just went to one of the swers above our heads and pried it open.

then we snuck out of them and we were on my fucking street!!??

seriously,!?

we walked for like an hour in the middle of nowhere and endedup on my street in a sewer pipeline!?

i was just like so creeped.

so me and my buds got some cushions and lawn chairs and shit, and we just through them down the sewer, (where it is for somereason dry?)

and now we just chill down there and shit, we tag everything

it is actually like so sick

a waste of all of you time but i just wanted to share my story :P

what happens in a flash flood when you all drown and no one can find your bodies?

on a optimistic note, that's pretty sick. throw little parties down there, drink with your buddies and hang out without any parents and what not
 
i remember a year or so ago a kid found and took pics of this sick old abandon hanunted house thing that they used to chill in. This is kinda similar. get some pics!
 
have you ever seen the movie "It"? watch that and i bet you will never want to go down there again haha...on a more positive note, thats pretty ill, and its sweet how you were down there wandering around for so long and you ended up on your street
 
There's a tunnel that a railroad used to go through but is now mostly collapsed.

Shit that looks like it is hand dug or dynamite?
yea watch for flash floods. you could smoke and shit, cuz no one would think twice about seeing smoke come out of a manhole. Make sure if you keep exploring you mark where you are going, so you dont get lost, cuz that would suck!
 
Probably both. It was built it the 1870's. Last used in the 20's or 30's. Now there are large chunks of rock falling from the ceiling.
 
haha thats so sick prob was so much fun def be careful around times tho when it rains a lot or just rained ... i cant imagine crawling throught the real skinny part i would shit my pants like what if you got stuck or something happend coulda been seriously fucked but sounds sick none the less

And you know that all tunnels, basements, anything underground has a certain amount of methane in it. Like I have a basement and we have a methane detector. You can die/get extremely sick and fucked up from methane inhalation so I would either bring a detector down there if you can find one or not go in it. Plus its a mine, so theres probably a ton of toxic shit down there.

Definitly not worth it.
 
Those pictures aren't from the thread creator. Thread creator = storm drains, those pictures are Snowcase in an old train tunnel.
 
Ive done this before, My friends and I have walked over a mile under the city. I know some kids who got into the state fair for free doing this.
