Breaking Brakes

I'm in the market for new bindings and am wondering which have the best brakes that are least likely to break. I currently have rossignol axial2 and I have been through way too many brakes from ejecting switch and they just snap. Just tired of wasting 20-40$ each time they snap.

I'd czech out Marker Squires. Notorious for there sweet unbreakable brakes that never snap or bend, and always stay intact.

For real though some major bindings like sth 13, attack 13, and fks have some nice brakes. Typically don't brake and are top of the line bindings. Marker griffons are fine too but I try to stay away from Marker a little. FKS brakes are a bitch to replace though

I know the feeling. I have axials and they break every time I eject switch. Just bought some Sth 12s, hoping they will be better.

Brakes are going to brake when you release switch as they dont bend that way. The bindings imo dont make a huge difference in that regard. Make your your bindings are properly adjusted throughout the season, and learn how to land switch.

They are the best binding all around and nice for brakes as well. They come with a sick warranty too.

16s have a little bit more metal so will be more durable

Pretty much. I have marker dukes and fks on two of my skis and have been able to bend/break both sets doing something dumb, mostly on either rails or landing switch. It doesn't matter what you have usually, if you land wrong it will break or bend eventually.

even the smallest, lightest skier can manage to brake at least 5 brakes a year on squires

Not gonna say there isnt. If my friend who is one of the biggest can, u may be able to as well. His first attempt he fell on his back and it was great
