breaking binding brakes

every pair of bindings ive owned i have destroyed the brakes crashing on switch landings. Today was my first day using the look jib bindings and one of the the brakes is already demolished. am i the only one that has this problem? also, can you replace just the brake, without having to remount the whole heelpiece?

turn up your dins or something so you dont pop out, if that is part of the problem. ive never had the problem, although ive known a good few who have

It happened all the time with my tyrolias, it was cause the ski was to wide for my brake so it wouldn't go up all the way and rest on my ski.

oh, and for look jibs, you can replace the brake, all you need to do is slide off the heel piece on the track, and slide it on with a new brake. if your unfamiliar with that or dont have the brake, shops should be able to do it

what was your din on dude????

i know how you feel man. i demolished the brakes on my last bindings landing switch off a jump last summer. it wasnt even a crash, i just landed and it just fell apart. got a new pair off warranty and bent a piece on the brakes, so now i dont have brakes on one of my skis. o ya, and both were look p10's.
