Admit the guy is a beast. I mean come on, he had the best NFL game ever for a wide receiver. Thats saying something considering all the amazing wide receivers out there like jerry rice, TO, Moss, etc... If you weren't informed he had 21 receptions against Indi (who is undefeated btw). Just saying the guy is a beast and imo the best receiver in the NFL right now.
 
wow he had one good game that dont mean hes the best in the nfl by any means. denver blows and hes the only one they can give the ball to so there for he gets 21 balls in a game end of story and denver still lost.
 
yea but guess who is in third with 19 behind him..Plus If I recall, i think the Broncos beat the pats. Matter of fact I was one of the thousands of drunk Bronco fans at that game.

^ ya no shit he would have. brandon marshall is 6'4" 230 lbs while welker is 5'9" 185 lbs. brandon marshall is a bitch who whines anytime he doesnt get his way and he can't even back himself up with consistent performace. i hate the patriots but wes welker is the man...i mean even just running those crossing routes takes balls especially with his stature. receievers are vulnerable when they have to worry about safeties coming up and taking them out when they can't see em coming.

Those were his old antics. Now he's a beast(according to ochocinco he is the beast, which is saying something). Plus when do you not see the best athletes wine, look at Kobe he's the biggest pussy out there.
 
Andre Johnson and Megatron are the best active receivers in the NFL, and Andre has a decent (actually pretty underrated) QB Matt Shaub, but Calvin has absolutely nothing to work with in Detroit, let Peyton, Brees, Rivers, Brady or Rodgers throw to him and he would put up god like numbers.

in regards to this thread and OP, i agree, especially since hes on my fantasy team, that brandon marshall is fucking awesome.
 
welker missed 2 games this season so the fact he's got 18 more receptions than everyone with 2 less games played is amazing.

I don't see how that video proves anything other than he can take a hit and get right back in the game. That shit happens all the time to wide receivers, there's nothing they can do about it if they're trying to catch the ball.

no kidding, I picked him up pretty late because everyone was scared because of his off season bitching.

It seams like he has grown up a lot this season and McDaniels and him have a pretty good relationship.

Also I agree, the guy has unreal hands, massive body, a 6th sense for running the ball, and speed to back everything up.

He is one of those guys who when he gets the ball the other team goes oh shit. How about Orton btw. Most disrespected QB in football. Just because he is disgusting looking, has no personality, and isn't flashy doesn't mean he isn't a winner. The guy is a machine and rarely makes mistakes and got Brandon Marshal those 21 catches. The Broncos are just inconsistent, on a good day they are one of the best in the NFL.

not all season, but yeah random moments of nothingness from him...especially last week, he dropped a fat goose egg. moss will turn it up...mark my words

brandon marshall had 21 rec for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. thats less than 10 yds/rec a catch. thats not very good at all, just like his less than 10% touchdown percentage. just because he has 21 rec does not mean hes good, it means he can run 3-4 yds and turn around. like wes welker, he is a possession receiver who is great for getting first downs, but he isnt a big scary threat like a randy moss or an andre johnson or a larry fitzgerald

brandon marshall's performance came in a losing effort, with the broncos playing from behind the entire game. this means, no doubt, that the broncos were passing the ball much much more than they were running out the clock

in 2007, randy moss had a 10 rec 128 yd 4 touchdown game, in a 56-10 victory over the buffalo bills. the catch? all of his 4 touchdowns and most of his yards and receptions came in the first half. that is a much better performance than marshall's

and yeah i keep moss at 3 not only because im a pats fan, but if you look at his numbers, hes still clearly one of the best.

I am surprised no one is talking about the 49ers finally getting some game back. Alex Smith is learning to get the ball off to Gore for the power play off tackle and they are finally starting to connect in their passing game. Just some regular great football.

obvious = vinsanthe shiancoe. hes just overshadowed by AP and favre and harvin and rice and berrian. and jared allen, one of the best personalities and probably the best DE in the nfl
 
I actually did consider putting him on this list, but decided not to, He is having a breakout year this year with Favre in Min., but he has been in the NFL since 2003 and hasn't really done too much till this year, maybe if he can maintain those numbers for another year I would add him. I Kept Celek on this list because this is only his third season and Vernon Davis, because once his head is straight, he is an absolute beast. He is 6'3" 250 lbs and runs a 4.38 40, fastest guy on the team. He is an absolute freak. But there is definatley a case to be made to add Shaincoe to this list
 
tru dat, but hes having an incredible year. dallas clark is no doubt in my mind the absolute best though. dude is unreal, and he doesnt even use receiver gloves!
 
suck a dick, denver may or may not make it for wild card. don't act like they have an elite team, marshall is good, but he carries himself like a bitch.
