hey guys, i bought a pair of afterbangs and px12's today, took em someplace else to get em mounted and came home. i was too excited to wait until tomorrow to try em so i put them on just did like a tail press and a nose press to feel the butter zones then took em off and saw that the plastic "shock absorber" was bending up. I took a closer look and all the back screws are slightly lifted off.
it's not like i was really flexing the skis or anything, they would have taken way more abuse the very first run tomorrow.
but what should i do???

Take them to the shop now, they must have fucked up royally if you could just pull the binding halfway out in your room. If they can see the binding coming out, they will have to do something to help you out.

yeah that's what i figured.
but seriously fuck i was so fucking excited. Do you think they'll just re drill it or what?

I would do that or grasp a screw driver in your hand and tighten until flush. Although this would really ruin your case with the shop, but those guys are apparently incompetent anyway, do you really want to put your skis in their hands again?

that is all what i have been thinking. But on the other hand if i screw it in it's most likely just gonna pull out when i'm buttering tomorrow..
i would rather just mount my skis myself but since i don't have the equipment or the knowledge that wouldn't be very smart of me. hopefully these guys will just fix it and i can head up, otherwise i will be so pissed..

yeah i took em back in at like eight this morning and they just tightened them down. i skied the whole day and they were sick but when i took them off you can see all the way through under the back of the binding again, but it's not lifted up too high..
so i think i'll just relax and let it be, or do you think that's a bad idea.

they are gonna rip out eventually, go back to the shop and make them buy you a new pair of skis, then take your business elsewhere

this, and I'm pretty sure flashkick was kidding on the punch fronts, that is exactly how you would tear the heelpeice out

Huh? I haven't posted here yet? And I usually don't kid when it comes to gear talk (unless it's completely necessary, but then I make sure it's obvious)
Just take them back to the shop, they messed up somehow cause that should never happen.

I said i wouldn't recommend trying punch fronts, but if he was gonna try one, make sure he filmed it.
