Won a pair of skis last year, cut a long story short they forgot all about me so when I reminded them they sent me over a pair of these:

There a pair of 07/08 season Rossignol Scratch Ghettos (WRS) 171cm

Ony problem is im done for this season and was wondering if I should sell them on, as far as I can tell there roughly the Scratch BC WRS from last year updated. Far nicer base. They are not officially released yet so I'm wondering what kind of price I'd get, Recon they'll be around £400 ($800) when there out in september. They're still shrink wrapped and have a tip to tail lenght of 171cm.

What are your thaughts?

Should I post this anywhere else?

they aren't the BCs, they are the FS. and I am guessing you will never get msrp.... and by guessing I mean you won't

there a sweet ski but i really dont think anyone will pay over $400 for them

i demoed them for a day and liked em they were light and poppy and a fun skis but 800 is very steep espically when they'll be out in a month

Just saying thats probs what they'll retail at. There the same geomotry as the 06/07 BC which retail at $800 I was actually thinking someone would offer more as there not officially released. Usually thats how it goes with prereleases. It would mean I'd have the cash to get to some more snow this season.

One they are not the WRS, they are the ghetto (FS).

They will cost $ 450-500

Your really dont know anything about skis because if you did you would know only crazy skis like the pontoon and the hellbent cost that much.

I hope you sell them though.

they are still the same WRS technology. They are just not the BC, they are the FS. although I am sure you meant to say that

all the rossi twins have the wrs tech it is not longer part of the name.

Get the white 140 binding that go with the ski. I have them and they look tight.

wrong, there is one next year that is a wood core just like the sprayer this year, theres a reason why the wrs costs more

Im not just making this shit up i work with a rep.

All WRS is , is that there is less wood and more fiberglass and other light weight material.  Rossis dont have that much wood in them any way, just 2 boards that go end to end.

not all of their twins have wrs

the ski on the far right is equivilant to this years sprayer, while it is not full wood core, its not wrs, and thus heavier

the ghetto is this upcoming season's fs wrs, rossi has dropped the fs name and the wrs name and has just called i the ghetto. it is not the same as the bc wrs, it is 84 under foot not 98. it will probably retail for $600 so i wouldn't expect to get any offers over that when you could buy this years for $300 or get next years in a few months

Theres a WRS logo on the dam ski, so lets put an end to that. you can probs see it in the picture the shiney little square on the right ski. I think your probs right about the ski being FS and not BC. I tried to measuer it out but I don't have the FS to match up with. I think he turn radius is 21m. thats why I assumed they were BC. To be honest I'd rather a pair of Lines or Amplids. The snow I usually ski on here is usually deep but heavy so I'd rather a pair of shorter wider skis with a smaller carve. Makes it easier to spin off cliffs and go corked in park, just a lot more control in general. Dont mind using these for a season tho, free skis are free skis. Just thought I might get lucky and find one of these spoilt ritch kids that have to have everything a season early no matter what the cost. wishful thinking.

Actually now I look at the picture the wrs logo looks dark, there those shiney little metal stickers, look more triangular too. Guess the camera didn't pick them up well. Sorry about that.

wrs means weight reduction system. candide and some other rossi guys developed it so there is minimal swing weight when your in the air
