Brakes

i need tips on how to put brakes back on my bindings, i pulled them off as the old ones were broken, and the new ones wont click into place..

the brakes are def. the right model, i just need some tips

mine fuck off a lot, screw just comes loose and they pop off.

slide the brake all the way back into position, don't worry about the legs just let them hang, all you have to do is make sure that the plate holes line up above each other, hten screw in the screw voila.

easiest with two people if you're new

If you buy your replacement from a shop they should put it on for you. I'm not familiar with rossi brakes, but most that I have seen are pretty easy to install.

DO THESE ONE AT A TIME. That way you don't mess up your forward pressure.

1. Back the heelpiece out of the binding using the worm screw on the base of the ski.

2. Pull the heelpiece completely off the binding after you have unscrewed it all the way.

3. Fliip the heelpiece upside down and look underneath. The brake goes straight back, straight sideways and straight back again. They don't screw in or anything they just lock in. They will fall off so hold them in the locked in positon while realigning the heelpiece with the ski.

4. Screw the wormscrew back on until the forward pressure is back to where it was, use the other ski to compare.
