Brakes too wide??

Ok so bought a pair of Lizzies this year and decided on some Salomon STH bindings. The brake options were 100,115 and 130 so i went with 115 to cover the 110mm waist of my skis.

I figured this would be fine as my look bindings were around the same difference on my old skis and fit pretty flush. However when i looked at the salomon brakes i realised they were different. The look brakes form a 90% angle but the salomons are above 90% so they point outwards a bit. When i put them up to my skis they apear to stick outwards alot more than my old setup.

What i am wondering is if anybody has ever had an issue with brakes being too long and catching the snow or each other. They are only 5mm bigger than my skis so i would assume it shouldn't be an issue but when i look at them it seems like it might be. Would i be better off to buy 100's and bend them?

Thanks guys

You will be fine, unless your like race carving they won't catch. Remember they pop in when you put your boot in because of the spring.

Ohh really? i feel stupid for not knowing that....so you mean that on top of retracting like they are supposed to they will also pull closer together to form more of a 90% angle? thanks
