My friend had this problem rescently and i did once on my old skis, but what do u do when you land switch and u pop out but stay on your ski and the brakes bend upwards. You know, you go to click in and the brakes are sliding on the ground? what quick methods do u peeps use to fix it on the hill or in the lodge, thanks.

I had this same problem, posted it earlier last week. I just took em up to the shop and had the guy bend em back. Now I just make sure i land perfect when I land switch.

Happened to me last night while skiing...four fucking times. i just sat down, and proceded to bend it outwards, adn then up...only problem is now when i click out, my skis don't have brakes...i just bent them up and the brakes won't come back down.

The 10 Commandments can in fact be narrowed down to only two:

1) Thou shalt be honest and truthfull to the one who gives you nookie

2) Thou shalt not kill unless the invisible god you worship is different than the invisible god they worship

Yeah. It comes down to being careful on your landings or else cranking up your heel DIN to keep from popping out like that, and the heel DIN is probably a bad idea, so yeah work on switch landings. One interesting thing I noticed about my P12 Jibs is that they have a weird retractor mechanism that moves the brake up and towards the tip of the ski. Also, they have very minimalistic plastic work on the brakes and the metal is very thick. I guess the idea was to keep this from happening.

that happened to me, but the brake came completely out of the heel piece, so i had to jam it back into the the heel piece, and bend it a litle

I guess I would recomend that you try to bend the brake just high enough where they dont bend down, but dont bend them so much that they dont function like they should

I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.

i was doin 5s and my brake broke, i couldnt fix it because the actual metal that the brake slips underneath had snapped so i had to send them back to look, so now im sitting here with skis with no bindings!!!!

i broke the brake on mine just last week, lucky for me i have a pair of last years bindings and just switched it out.
