Brake width

i just got tyrolia peak 15 bindings with the 97 mm width for my 97 mm waist al dentes, i tried putting the brakes on the ski waist and the rubber part seemed too tight and was pretty tricky to take off. Stupid question i know, but is that normal? ive heard you can bend them in, but im just making sure.

Yes you can bend them. You should be able to do it on your own but if you can't your shop will if you ask them too. Also if it comes down to it you can always put a bigger brake on them.

ya the problem with buying a new width would be it would have to be 115 which would be far too big... It'll work out in the end though, im sure the ski shop can make it work or I can

Did you try the brakes mounted or just putting them over te ski. If it's the latter don't worry. when a brake is mounted there is force pushing it down so I would think you will have no problems.

Yeah they will be fine then. Those brakes have quite a bit of olastic on the internal side. You will find once mounted this will share back just slightly and they will be fine. Certainly much better then the 115. We were putting the 97 on skis up to 105 without issue.
