Brake Width Help

Ordered Line Blends (100mm width)

Looking to get Look Pivots

Unsure whether to get the

Wide Brake (80-95mm)

or the

XXL Brake (100-117mm)

100mm width ski needs a 100mm wide break to be able to fit the ski.

He is wondering whether the overhang is too much. Not to threadjack but I'm in the same boat, deciding between 90 and 110 griffons for Rossi experience 98. Any advice? Thanks.

Yeh im wondering if the smaller brake can be bent at all to fit

You're talking 5mm... so yes it can be bent. But in my experience it has to be bent past the 5mm mark because otherwise the arms end up catching on the sides/edges. Some shops will do it without hesitation, others might urge you to go up.

If you do go up to the XXL sometimes... if you're really getting your lean on when carving the white the arm CAN drag.

i would do the wider brakes. they tuck in once your boot is in it. if the blends were a little bit more narrow underfoot id say bend the 90s, but thats not the case.
