Brake Width for Ski Width???

Alright, so I’m about to buy skis with a waist of 101 and not sure which width of binding to buy. I really wanna get some look pivots cuz they’re my favorite bindings but would a 95 be too small to bend out for this ski and would a 115 width be too wide?.. if there would be an issue with this I was just going to cop a pair of Salomon sth bindings that are available at 100mm. Whatcha guys think?

95 is perfect

brakes can be bent out and most are slightly wider than claimed anyway

Like Holyfuck Batman, you could mount that brake on the tips ? Doesn’t make sense for so many reasons. Hopefully no one else does this

Bindings come large by a mm or 2 and can be bent out, I’ve seen 8mm with no issues.

I have the 115 pivots in my bentchetler 100s and they don't seem too wide

Pivots are notorious for being too big and not retracting well. I run 95mm on my jeff 108s and even run 115mm on my ghost trains which are 125 underfoot. I hate having the overhang.

sth2 brakes and other bindings seem to retract better, so when I’m on pivots I always downsize
