Brake snapping

ok so today i snapped the fourth brake this season of my dynastar px12 troubles. I know this is caused from landing switch nose heavy, but it is a freestyle binding right? So saying that is there any bindings out there that are better for switch. Deadbolts?

yeah dynastar px 12 will do tht to u..trust me i kno cuz i have them..but they are a great park binding, there really durable, other than the break..i love them

my brother and i both have the shitty salomon z series bindings from like 3 years ago on our park skis
last month, i broke my brake for the trillionth time, and today my brother ripped his heelpiece out
for px12, i'm honestly pretty surprised

did you bend them yourself? sometimes when you do that they end up too low so they hook easymaybe try bending them towards the tail of the ski a little more so that when your boot is in them they stick up a little more making it harder for them to snagwith my fks i had to fine tune them a lot until i got them so they wouldn't snap off

Well I'm an FKS guy (so ya I hate brakes too!), but I can say that my friends with Deadbolts have been pretty successful. I don't think there is a binding out there that can truly take digging the brakes into the ground while hauling ass switch though.

id be willing to be somebodys gonna come out with like, a brake that can flip the other direction (like emergency release something) so it doesnt break. kinda like a hinge....thatd be interesting.
