Brake problem

yesterday I went skiing and broke the brakes on the ti 912 04-05 model. I landed fakie and the brakes explosed. I bought some new brakes the same day. I landed fakie again and the new brakes explosed again... I don't know what to do.. do I have to change the ti912 or buy some wide brake???
 
Realise that salomon makes shitty bindings. I'd say try to warranty the breaks then bend the new ones up so they don't catch when you ski switch.
 
when you are landing fakie? are you falling also?

cause the brakes cant explode with your heel in there.. and they shouldnt be near the running surface..
 
when I land the brakes touch the ground for no reason... and after I'm ejected from the fixation
 
i had the same issue. its like the elastic travel lets your heel lift up, and the brake deploys, then you eject and hit your boot on the heelpiece and explode the binding. did it 4 times. twice on the same day. pretty gay design.
 
what about when my left ski comes off, the brake doesn't come down, any reason why this might be?
 
bent break, locking it to the sidewall or missing/broken link under step can make it kinda flopy. If you hit it a bunch of times and it flops down or you can pry it out and it flops down its bent. ft it's flopy useally it comes down but won't do anything to stop the ski that is. If it's bent in just bend it out a little.
 
if you snap the plate, the clips on the ti rails that the brakes hook into, or the rails themselves, its considered a defect and will be warenteed. it was 4 times for me. but as for solving it? bend your brakes upwards a bit, so the elastic travel wont let them hit snow...other than that? dont land switch at all. it only seems to happen on spins with more than one rotation like 5s . maybe it has something to do with the torque of spinning too. but if you plan on riding park i wouldnt buy these, based on my experiences. the only pro i found is that theyre light as fuck.
