I had braces for 3 years and I just got them off about 3 weeks ago. It wasnt really that bad except for the time I landed on my face on a trampoline and the braces ripped a nice gash on the inside of my lip. But it was worth it, my teeth look so much better now

 
I'm pretty lucky, I only had them on for a year and 3 months and I got them off in the middle of grade 8. I'm now going into grade 11 and there are alot of people who have braces.

Mine come off in like August 2006 and I got them In August 2004, and to tell you the truth, they have never been much of a hassle to me, a lot of people are always so stressed when they are about to get braces but like, they look weird on you for the first day, then they look totally natural, and you won't have to get dentures(sp) as fast if you have a perfect smile.

ive had mine for 2 and a half years .. i was suposed to get them off in january but i never wore the elastics, they are really gross.
