wear your retainer. I got mine off about 8 years ago and didn't wear my retainer. My top teeth are still good but my bottom ones are kinda bad again. Not as bad but just kinda.

Yeah - I had them top and bottom for 2 years 9 months (my teeth were overcrowded so I had to get 4 out and shift the rest to fill the gaps) - it felt completely alien without them after that. And like the guy said above, wear your retainers as your orthodontist tells you, and keep wearing them at night even after that for a few months. I didn't wear mine as much as I should and one tooth on the bottom rotated back a bit - pretty annoying.

 
congrats. It feels so good. Braces sucka ss but i almost hate the retainer more. Its harder to keep track of then braces

yay thats awesome. i hope i get mine off soon. i've had them for almost 2 years and they wont tell me when they are coming off. oh well, i dont mind them too much. the retainer i had was so much worse.

Yay Court! Congrats girls! The orthodontist took before and after pictures of my smile, too. YAYYY that's awesome. I hate braces. But yeah, wear your retainers every night. My friend doesn't wear hers often anymore, and her teeth are getting pretty bad again. She can't even put her retainers in now. What a waste of time and money.
