Bozeman Skinning

I'm looking for good places to skin near bozeman, didn't buy a pass this year so i'm just going to rip the backcountry.

Brackett Creek, Ross Pass, Truman Gulch, Frazier/Sacajawea, Hyalite Creek, Emerald Lake, Mt Blackmore, Beehive Basin, etc.

I'm looking for more people to tour with this year since everyone I usually ski with left, I could probably show you around a bit.

ill be hitting up beehive once we get some snow. i also usually skin up bridger a couple times before they open

I'm definitely looking to do some bozeman backcountry this winter. I'm coming from the flathead for my freshman year, so I'm all for getting acquainted with the terrain here. Got trackers/skins/beacon and shit.

You guys should all get a hold of me sometime, I need new people to tour with and I want to get out a lot this winter. I'm Sam Reinsel if you want to find me on FB.

NUH UH DUDE! Did you ski! I was up at beehive yesterday!

Video coming sometime this week.

Went up to Sacajawea peak today and shredded down a chute thats been filled in from all the wind. It was super fun!! Pics coming tomorrow

not any more it's not, the names scott boyd if anyone wants to look me up. I won't be doing to much skinning while hunting season but after I should be shredding

That was March a couple seasons ago, there was 130cm at the base of the peak then. We won't be seeing that much snow for quite a while, but Blackmore's a good one earlier in the season.

DUMPING in bs. supposed to snow all week. fingers crossed for some beehive action before i go to brighton next weekend.

be careful up there. very avy heavy right now with all that new snow. I know one was set off a couple days ago.

went up to bridger yesterday and there was probably the same amount of snow down in bozeman. apparently one of the fingers slid pretty good. i was expecting more snow but it was good enough coverage in the grass...definitely got scrapes on the road areas though

Does anyone want to head up toward Blackmore next weekend? I'll finally have my skis mounted by then, I want to get out and skin around a bit.

Yo homie I'm down. I was up in Hyalite today and the snow is still pretty soft. I doubt we should go to the top of Blackmore (due to stability) but we can definitely try to get up in that area.

PM fool.

Does anyone want to get out in the next couple days? I'm done with school and Bridger is not worth going to for the foreseeable future...
