Boynes or Nubs

which one boyne(the mountain and highlands) or nubs nob. why?

Save Sugar Loaf! It's our resort, not just real estate.

the time i was there, boyne highlands was the best, for me. nubs has a sweet superpipe, but i cant do shit in the pipe, so it sucked for me. their jumps were pretty gay when i was there. they did have some good groomer runs, but highlands had the best overall, they had one decent jump, they had decent steep areas (out of bounds) that had knee deep powder, granted they were short but they were worth it. i suppose it was just more fun. the only good thing that happend at mountain was the hootenanny, sick setup

I didn't like boyne mtn that much when I was there in april. They only had small jumps, bad pipe, and no rails, but it was april.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

^ yeah no matter what all the resorts just give up on thier park as soon as it gets warm.

chill

It's my medicine

are you all kidding me? Nubs has by far the best park in lower michigan, hands down.

skiing sucks

^ depends how you look at it. deffinately the best pipe, and has the most rails, but there were only 3 jumps. mountain had a shitty half pipe and a bunch of bumps that they called jumps. highlands at least had that 20ft transfer. that was probably the best jump of the 3, but pine knob, (down by detroit) probably had a better park, even though there was no pipe and there wernet many rails

I heard pine knob was killin it, bittersweet also throws down pretty decent with what snow they have. Plus, they have a sick crew that rides there, even htough most of them are going out west this year. If i had a season pass to get, it would still be nubs by far. Better rails and sick pipe. sometimes tey have decent jumps, i wasnt there much this past year though

skiing sucks

i work at Nub's over winter break and i still don't recommend going there for the park. last year they had the worst jumps they've ever had and their pipe is just weird. the drop in is way too far uphill and the pipe just kind of runs into the ground at the end instead of the walls tapering down. it was a good pipe the four times they groomed it. my suggestion would be buying a plane ticket to Denver and driving until you find a good park (probably Breck's).

I didn't ski Highlands last year, but when I was at Nubs in December the park was pretty damn sick. The pipe is of course out of hand, three pretty good jumps, and good rail setups. Based on past experiences at Boyne (both mountains) I'd take Nubs any day of the week.

Oh my gosh did someone say Eric Kovtun..... He is the man and he will forever remain in my heart... Boyne or Nubs... Nubs, dont ask such a damn stupid question. ha no but really nubs is doing good with that pipe, best in Michigan... SKIMP FILMS STILL LIVES!!
