Boyne Highlands Spring Board Meeting UPDATE

Ok listen up. Jason Wagner and I have just completed the park features and they include:

2 rail, 2 box setup down challenger run (varations pending)

10 ft halfpipe weather pending

Jumps in order as on hill - 35ft moto, 50ft 45degree hip gap jump or 30ft 0degree gap jump (SBM's most anticipated transition in which a distance of 70 ft can be obtained while still landing on the steep), 30 ft double-hit moto, 30 ft moto, 40 ft transfer gap.

All jumps have been measured with tape. 2 day Lift ticket prices pending ($15). Assumption of risk still in effect. Do not utilize ski patrol unless absolutely mandatory. All jumps will already have been tested and marked for your safety. A non-cash purse big air competition will take place sometime Sat. afternoon.

and no, i had a bad fall doing my first (and last) aerial competition at the olympic trainging center during the end of january. i kept skiing a little bit, making it worse...well, at least not making it heal.

the only problem with man is that he doesn't know how he ought to live. But there is a law of life. A law to live by. Not guidelines (commandments)..not suggestions (parents, schools), but a LAW. The 5 jumps in a row were sick. I didn't like the first one much and believe it or not I thought the 4th one was too small because i overshot it all the time. It was so sweet though. I was watching everyone do stuff and making it look so easy so I just went for stuff. It was pretty cool having a ton of people say stuff to me about farp. Sunday kinda sucked cause it was like 25 degrees. I almost broke my arm trying a 540 on the last jump.

Yeah, i saw the FARP boys..... and i had an alright time even though i didn't throw one single trick..... the 5 jumps in a row were kool, but they weren't my style of jumps... like, they seemed sort of small, and no pop, like a lil drop off with a landing 20 feet away. i enjoyed riding the pipe though. I liked last year way more, but i had a good time.

I PROMISE you marquette will be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better riding. We have a 70 footer and a 85er right now....and well be working on the park all week...

it was also snowing..... last year it was 70 and sunny and soooo much sweeter. but perfect pipe conditions which us indiana folk never get to ski, so i tihnk most of us enjoyed that.
