So a little bit long list but what the fuck happened to these guys,they were like destroying 6 or 7 years ago and they are old like Thall,they should still be skiing.I know that Raps had some knee surgeries but that was few years ago.

 
they all got hurt...except mercon, not sure bout him, but watching older footy, ski movie 3, propaganda, stuff like that, they were behind style wise anyway. ski movie 3 raps throws some penciled out spins, philou was sketchy on rails but still claims...there were just guys back then with way more style (mik d, phil b, liam, crichton) that didnt get the exposure they did, skiing just evolved past them while they were hurt.
 
I believe Philou got a marketing job with Oakley and judges a lot of comps now(He is judging JOSS)
 
i mostly agree, except, philou was pretty smooth at rails, always kept his hands low at a time when godzilla was the model for rail style.
 
I think Philou is beyond trying to be a recognized pro in movies and shit.

I remember seeing him hurt his knee at WSI a LONG time ago, and then didn't see much of him after that.

I see him riding Tremblant every now and then, and I think he is managing the Oakley freestyle ski team along with his judging stuff like other ppl have said here.

Philou was sick at rails, WTF are you talking about? He is french and from Quebec, how could he not slay them..?
 
im not saying he wasnt good on rails...just his hands down looked way too forced, think about that shot of him from momentum where hes doing like the up-flat-down-flat-down or something, hes all over the place but forcing his hands down....or that shot from that long urban c rail where he gets up on one foot and his arms are all over the place...just seems like he had to force himself to put his arms down, didnt look natural of comfortable, but i guess no one really had real rail steeze back then except tanner, mik d, liam, daschlong, and heed.
