Boxes vs. Rails

i was skiing today and realized that i really dont like boxes but i love rails. what do you guys think?

i think doing switch ups and spinning off of rails is easier than on boxes, but its harder to make it to the end

I love boxes, and have had very bad experiences with rails.

you get your skills on boxes and then bring them to rails. Learn to 270 onto boxes then try on rails etc...

i wish my park had a nice down box with a jump on but the jump is higher than the box. to learn like 450's and 630's on.

and i like rails more, they dont feel like they are destroying your skis as much, altohugh they are probably

the feeling you get after cleaning a rail is much better that after a box, it just feels so smooth when your on a rail

box's are good for spinning on and off but on a box u dont get the feeling on being locked on with the thing right under ur foot as its too wide which u do with a rail.

rails are actually easier to spin off of but theyre much more rewarding to clean. boxes give a sense of safety and are fun to learn new tricks and spins onto.
