Boxes are fun, but rails take much more skill and practice, and the risk factor is higher. I can 270 on switchyup to 270 on bother boxes and rails, and rails are definitly harder.

he's right, i learned 270 on with multiple switchs ups in less than 10 tries ona long flat box and then did the same on a C box. and i AM bragging as well as trying to prove his point.

I love to do boxes, but yeah I wouldnt like to see a movie filled with pros hitting boxes. However, the ocassional box in ski movies is nice. For example, in breath and stop when andy mahre nose butter 450s onto the flat box, it was just so damn steezy and cool looking that it didnt matter that it was a simple box

about the orage masters having boxes...are you dead fucking serious about that being gay? if you havent realized, everyone that goes there looks like they have the greatest time of their lives. boxes are fun and that's not going to change..they go there to have fun and i think with boxes it makes the course so much easier to have a good time

i love box's i would rail boxes everyday like pete if i could. but then again our pets heads are falling off and there is nothing to eat around here. but yeah boxes i love'm

 
I think the box they had at the top of the course for the orage masters was bad contest feature.

It was 4 feet wide, and 10 feet long, EVERYONE was doing the EXACT same thing on all day long: 450 on or switch 450 on, skiding around 270 or what ever on top of it and going off the otherside.

It would have been a very different contest had it been a 30 foot flat bar rail that was 3 or 5 feet off the ground. Not only would that have been a bigger challenge to be creative on, but it probably would have distributed people better accross the other features at the top of the course that were totally ignored by 95% of the people in the contest.

I agree so much, n that double tips grab was sick, spinning of boxes is just so fun n hell a switch double backflip is fuckin amazing n crazy as hell, jon in pink is funny n one piece suit is... well its not stopping the progression anyways but hell.

If everyone like the same things in skiing it get dull cause it always be the same thin

who cares if they are easy to do...what about that S rollercoaster box...theres tons of pros that cant even slide that and its a box. i think boxes are just as much a part of the sport as rails
