well we finished the tower and inrun and just have the top sheet and sides to put on the box. here it is so far...

time to attach the top sheet and metal coping edges, sand them down and RIP IT!!!

those slides suck as an inrun..i tried it in the winter last year...going down the snow covered slide.....went no where and the bumps on it really fuck u up ....so that tower is sturdy? cuz im makin one this year..

ive slid down the slide and it work pimp. its not going to have snow on it, we are using the slide as is for summer jibbin'. we are using NO SNOW or ICE...

the tower is sturdy but will fall over when you climb up. ours is going intot he gound to support it. as is the slide end and the box itself.

we are digging out a trench for the box and 4 holes for the tower. the tower itself is very strong once you get up onto it. i was jumping around and it wasnt budging. once its into the ground it will be SOLID.

i thought d-loc was an idiot for a long time, but this is acually a fairly well done thing. that looks sick.

but i do have to comment on drinking on the slide. usually a bad idea. i had a bad experience once.

Yea the slide is really slick it will be awesome! And the tower is really sturdy once it isplanted it isnt going anywhere. O yea and for everyone that thought the Camry was a gulf there you go a close up pic of it for you!

well i can stand on the slide at the top and push a little forward and i start to fly down the thing. its really sturdy and slippery. plus it has the walls to keep us going straight down.

ummm i think slides are like $169. i saw one when browsing homedepot, and it looked sorta like mine.

but i wouldnt have gone and bought a slide, too expensive, i had that in my backyard from when i was little and i just took it cuz noone uses it.

yeah man im quite the handy craftsman :) got some good ideas going.

haha yeah i try to pace myslef so i dont start to get that hardcare tipsy feeling. i got a little too drunk the other day and i couldnt push down on the drill butt to get then screw in. so yeah that sucked. i keep it to 3-5 beers while we are working. plus it slows progress down cuz your all wasted and shit

i wouldnt get piss drunk around power saws and shit, not looking ot lose a finger haha

we have to build a small kicker still, but the box will be shorter since its going into the ground. we are using plywood/pegboard type material that is slick on one side that slides good.

basicaly when the slide ends we will have a 2' X 4' plywood panel on the ground then have the kicker next covered in plywood. then the box.

not that good of a set up, tower is damn small, box is damn short and your not going to like the control issues with sliding down that

 
yeah i have the white shirt with grey sleaves on. im the one standing on the tower between the power lines. i almost stood up into them but we moved the tower over cuz it wasnt level

the tower is 5 feet tall and plenty high because we are starting on a hill and that gives us an extra 2 feet once we hit the flat.

the box is fucking 12' long... how much longer do you want a SINGLE box? any longer and we couldnt store it anywhere.

im also going to build 2 8' boxes identical to this. they can be put on the end of the 12' box making it a 20' box or a 28' box. adding kinks where we will.

or we might set up another hit and have the 2 8' boxes as a down kink.

CONTROL... ive already slid down the slide, its fucking perfect you jealous bastard. the side walls MAKE IT so you go right down straight. its fool proof if you can comprehend physics.

the slide is ment for little kids, so when an adult slides down the small hump, which doesnt effect you anyway, flattens out and you dont even feel it.

you know the slide was my most brillian idea for the inrun, just admit it and take you hand, shove it into your boxers and SQEEZE... thats the feeling of jealosy.

You may find yourself having to use snow for the on. I just can't see a slick board working very well at all. Aside from that, though, it looks pretty good Good idea with the slide; I'd considered something similar but couldn't find anything that would work.

We are using 2x4s the peg board for the topsheet of it. The board will slide for sure, the slide is going to give us a lot of speed and the board is slick as hell
