Box rail- help

I'm planning to make a box rail and i have no idea how to make it but I am using wood. can you guys give me some help on how to make a sturdy, strong box rail?

just build a frame support out of wood and screw two pvc pipes on the top

Yea build a frame that will suppport it and then put a sheet of plywood on top. Then You can do one of 2 things. Find some plastic and screw it to the top. Or Cut the pvc in half and screw part of the pvc onto the side of the box. Then use cocking and with the edge that is on the top cock that to the plywood on top

what's that plastic stuff that the ski hill use for rails and where can i get that

That plastic stuff is called lexan i think. Its pretty expensive
