so bousquet this little mountain in the berkshires is opening friday. im privileged enough to get to ride this place all winter, is anyone gonna be up there this weekend?

they will have 2 trails open

and you will be lucky if they make a decent park this year

but i may take a trip friday just to ski

actually rumor is bousquet is gonna have a good park this year

no jumps over 35ft but it might still be nice

they just need more boxes/rails to make it nice

yea i talked to a kid on the lift today and he told me they ordered a bunch of new boxes and rails so hopefully it will be good this winter

who said that, cuz today i saw liek 6 rails laying on the ground all from last years and most had bent or broken supports (it sucks when kids think bousquet sucks even though it does now but it used to have the best park liek awhile ago)

they did not order anything i work their and the park will be better than the last 2 year arron is back and he is gunna make it the best he can with georges limits...they have a 30 foot shaved log, monster truck tire, poss a old broke down truck and steve made a 26 foot f/d and is working on a d/f/d or a f/d/f hes not sure yet if anyone would like to donate or sell plexy glass contact steve at bousquet

is all this really gonna happen or is everything gonna end up being sketchy like it was last year? i garauntee if they just asked kids to help out, every kid that goes there would donate their time to help re-build the park. when i skied there when i was younger their park was the best around, and over the years i have watched it disingrate. its a shame.

is the park gunna b on russel, or the trail it was on last year, and do u know when they are going to start making it, and is arron park manager this year or just helpin out

its on the same trail as last year but that trail was open last weekend so hopefully they have something set up this weekend

ok so i know a few people from around here are from pittsfield or the surrounding area and ski or have skied at bousquet in the past. for the past few years the park has sucked but i have some really good news for everyone, two of my good friends and graduates from the lydon state college terrain park management program have been hired to work at the mountain and make the park. they both have alot of experience in the field and have been working all summer on building new features. bousquet is finally going to have a good park again!

I worked there all summer and I know the kids they brought in. You're a fool if you think bousquet will ever drop the money to support well maintained jumps and change it frequently. It will literally be the exact same thing with maybe a few nicer rails. The park used to have 80 foot jumps and according to the owner about a month a go; the insurance company doesn't allow jumps over 30 feet. I've had high hopes for bousquet since i was like 10 and they let me down every year.

haters gonna hate just wait and see, its gonna be different this year. i grew up riding at bousquet was back in the day and i want it to be good just as much as anyone and to the comment about not having a jump over 30 feet, you dont need huge jumps to have a sick park
