Boulder ski resort planning

would you be stoked on a small resort with one or two tow ropes in or on the skirts of boulder that was just a jib park with 20-40 features?

or even if you dont live in boulder, would you pay a ticket for something like that if it was in your town? what would be resonable price for a day and for a season pass in your mind?

snow making..

at most i would pay 5 or 10 bucks to ride something like that. WP tried last year downtown by doing Ruby Hill and that was free.. but way sketch

i dont know about a just jib park

but if it had some nice flow, good rails and some jumps then i would pay for sure

A scenario: If I went to CU and there were days I couldn't drive so far to ski, I would have a jib park to sess then fuck yes I would be cheap lift tickets to rip around on a jib park.

i really don't think that would work in boulder, it's too hot. but if it did work i'd go. where are you thinking? that hill near the skatepark by 28th?

Yo im prolly goin to CU boulder next year. If there was a fuckin dope jibpark within 20 minutes id be the biggest supporter. Id session it every minute that i couldnt make it to the other mountains.

i have no idea how much snow stays in boulder during the winters because i've have yet to experience a boulder winter, i'd just made little ghetto rope tows in the past and wanted to see if there was ever enough snow or if it was a feesable idea...but its sounding pretty far fetched

This has been tried before in boulder. Long story short too warm to have a park more than a month or too.

you're not a good driver if you can't make it up to echo withough 4wd. I do it all the time through all conditions in an 83 rwd diesel benz. and they repaved and fixed up alot of squaw to accomodate for the anticipated traffic this season, so it should be better and cleared faster than last year

i think instead, if you went and colloborated with eldora and made some BALLER shit there that would be the best plan. Echo is kind of far from boulder for what it is.

That would be sweet, offer a really chip season pass and its a perfect close place to jib all week long even with classes

Bingo!

If enough people expressed interest in a decent park there, and maybe even got jobs doing park shit there, they'd probably do it. By being so close to CU (25,000 students), they have every reason to want in on some of that.

ah you got me, i don't know what i was thinking haha. but you gotta sandbag the trunk and just fly up that bitch, come on!
