i'd say the forecast looks a lot better than it did last week. although, it looks like it will be getting warmer towards fri/saturday...

papasteeze, any word on what they plan on doing? maybe the following weekend if we're lucky?

i hope they get something open by the 13th, i have a long weekend from school and i wanna make the journey east.

haha, i can tell your going crazy, this is like your 3rd thread about it, and im just as stoked

Boulder wont be open for awhile. This snow will be gone by friday or staurday. Then 50s and 60s next week. Id say the earliest, is the second weekend or after.

FYI I am donating to the Big Boulder a Rail Jib Feature and a park rake and we are shipping out today a ton of rails tomorrow to the east coast and Camelback is getting 15 or more for themselves

that good and all if sno willactually useit half of the stuff they bought last year i saw on the side of the park

I wouldn't say a full opening is possible but I could see a partial opening. Look at mt. snow they opened a hike park with hardly any snow at all.

Ryan, are you saying that you are bringing those to Boulders Opening day? Cool! I didn't think you would stay at Sno very long. Props for making a good move.

Big Boulder open friday night, Halloween. 5 -12 pm in the plaza.

No word on the jibs they will set out. Ian wants to take a look at things tomorrow and decide in the morning. The word is free hotdogs!

The next 2 weeks don't look great for getting a decent base down to open the lifts open, so, if you are interested in just coming out to hit it up and hang out. come on over!

i will be there fo sho should be rollin in at like 930pm or so. is there like a motel close by that i could stay at for cheap haha my and my homie decided against the motown throwdown and decided to roll up to roundtop tomorrow because we are both half injured and figured a 20 stair 20 degree down rail probably isnt that greatest thing to try and throw down on before the season haha.

were you registered/invited for the motown showdown thingy? We are leaving now for a 5 hour drive

try the best western in blakeslee on I80 for lodging. make sure they are going to be open tomorrow ... saturday

mailbox to double barrel or flat box to little wall ride. a little jump was made out of the side of the wallride. it was fun i got there super later and it was beat out and really fast when you would land a little scary but fun.

yo man are you the guy with the glasses on, I think I talked to you a little at the end on that jump and the wall ride I was wearing black with anthems

oh ok I dont know if I saw you I was the kid with all black scared as shit to hit my first down box sad I know ahah, I was there like 9-12

ya word i was in the big black pants and long sleeve white tall t i was standing next to you a few times and we seshed that wallride at the end. ya dwilly was the kid with the gay glasses on. fuckin faggot.

^ yea man I def remember you, earlier I thought you meant the yellow shirt was on the on top of the white one... anyway maybe Ill see you guys there I bought a season pass

the weather forcast looks pretty good. below 32 most of the nights. so i would say we could expect opening on the 22nd. lets hope so!!

^ shit, that actually worked!! anyway, sean jordan and i are the only skiers in the vid, but still, you get a good vibe from the night

I was only donating a Bouy ball Jib feature to Boulder and a single rake as I had a couple of campers from PA that spent some time at our camp (HCSC) up at Hood this summer and Boulder was their home mountain.

Basically when someone stokes me out with enough positive energy I am often likely to help out there local hill for free

Funny thing was when my driver stopped at Boulder to drop the goods they were not even happy to get free stuff and did not even say thanks... which is fine as I did not do it for them anyway. and they may or may not use the stuff who knows and I dont care either way.

Sno Mtn is only one of 23 resorts I helped manage and my guys here at Planet are all happy to be riding more pow this year and we look forward to a great year this year as it has snowed 2-3 feet already here and expecting about 4-5 feet this week.

The only thing I will miss about PA is we wont get to see rain until May.

We are heading up to Calgary to build the Canadian Open next week so winter is here and I am not complaining at all.

life is great!

you sound like an even bigger cock. in fact, he doesnt sound like a cock at all. for you to say hes a cock in two seperate threads is a sign of a very huge douchebag. ryan has some legit shit all across the country. just because one mountain fucked his rep up for you doesnt mean hes a cock.

Thanks for backing me up...

But... He is not worth your time...

He will eventually graduate from kindergarten and might someday actually become a productive member of society. But don't hold your breath.

^ i reall dont want to be a buzzkilll, because my spirits are hih as well. but mt snow isnt even gonna blow this week. : (. but starting saturday, shits getting cold, fast

damn cousin, ease up. you're losing more and more respect with each post. the dude's tryin to explain the reason for a tarnished image of him in this area, and clearing his name a bit. I've never met the dude, but from his posts he doesnt sound like a cock, but instead a guy who's tryin to work hard and got shafted by sno. take it easy home boy. and for someone who's trying to get into the ski industry, which is relatively small, i wouldnt go around claiming like that last line of yours. especially toward someone who is relatively established in said industry. take a breather homie.

agreed man..i messaged neptune for some tips in the industry and he didn't seem cocky at all. He gave me some pointers..As well as this post..doesn't seem cocky to me other..seems like you just have some hostility..last line sounds a bit cocky from TWA to me..

Extremely well said KT...

Planet Snow provides a valuable service to those resorts who can't/don't do it themselves. Imagine what SNO would have been like with out him. I am sure that there are those who say they could have done it themselves. Monday morning quarterbacking is the easiest thing ever.
