Hey everyone,This is my new endeavor to help out our good friend Riley Poor, who was paralyzed in an accident this past January at the Winter Dew Tour in Mt. Snow. My goal, is to run the Boulder Backroads Marathon, to raise money to donate to Riley. Much like how people run for various other causes, this one is very personal to myself, my friends and the community that has given us so much. I’m pumped to run in the name of helping someone. I’m not asking for an arm and a leg, and I know that times are tough, please try and give what you can. Run for Riley

Make a team and you will raise more, I would do this with you if I could. Maybe if you want to do the Colorado Marathon in May and do the same thing? I could do it then more than likely. The more people in on it the better.
 
What about a marathon for Shane McConkey's wife and daughter? No offense to Riley, but he jumped/fell into a pool. Shane DIED with his boots on. JesusmotherfuckingChrist.
 
can you run a marathon? thats 26.2 miles. thats a long way. you cant just run one on emotion.
 
Hey man chill out for a little, we all feel for Shane and his Family. What happened to him is tough for a lot of people. Shay is doing this for a really close friend of his. Instead of bitching about no one doing anything for Shane and his family why don't you do something. Run a marathon for him, have a bake sale... Be pro-active instead of bitching!
 
I just makes me disappointed that there is SOOOO much for Riley and I've hardly seen anything for the McConkey's. I mean if Riley was skiing then I would definitely 100% would be pulling for him. I hope the best for him, but he's still alive.
