Any of you going to CU Boulder? I'm looking at going there and would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on the school!
 
Honestly no one on newschoolers goes there, I think all the freeskiers in Colorado usually go to UNC in Greeley. I don't think anyone has ever asked this question before either, only a few dozen threads come up if you search, but thanks for asking dude!
 
for what it's worth I've heard cause of recent budget restrictions the mormon's have bought it out and it will now be a BYU satellite school, so you can say bye to partying.
 
if you're into douches and smoking weed and getting turnt beyond belief, than maybe boulder is right for you
 
Boulder isn't that chill. There are a lot of frats and sororities. It is a big school and I'm sure you can find your chill group, but I have never heard anyone describe CU as chill. On the other hand, Naropa is super chill. It's definitely a trustafarian hippy school, but I like it.

I think CU is an awesome school, but it's too big, too expensive (boulder as a whole is very pricey), and too rowdy for me. I would rather rage it at a concert or in the desert.
 
I agree with that statement...

At first I thought that Boulder was chill... until i started blacking out and seeing every type of drug known to a white kid. As well as knowing that every single person I know, has gotten at least 1 drinking ticket and probably 2 on average.

On top of that, you walk down the hill and every car you see that is Either a BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc... has a california / new jersey / texas / illinois / NY license plate on them...

Also, people in Boulder don't say hi to you or make eye contact when youre walking down the street...

Ive lived in boulder for about 4 years, and from having come from Kentucky... people are a LOT nicer there.

But yea. I like to rage. thats a def a positive hehe
