so yeah i went there to stay with some friends and everything about it sucked. such a lame ass place to live. too many spike ur hair pop ur coller kids and oc chicks.

I know the Boulder rep is bad, but honestly half the kids here are in state and plenty of out of state kids moved here for the mountains so they're down for the scene.

that is why i am going to college 20 miles from boulder so i can go their but dont have to deal with the people all of the time

wait wait wait, let me get this straight. you live in Golden so you dont have to deal with the shit heads in boulder? seems pretty backwards to me. I HATE Golden. That place sux ass. I hate even driving thru that place.
 
b/c the college suckz bawllz. its full of nerds, 65% male and my friend who used to attend the college said it has the lowest student happiness rating in the nation. so he left and went to CU. he said the only upside was being 15 minutes closer to skiing. and the cops suck ass their. they all have large sticks shoved up their asses.
 
your a little off on the male percentage, it's 70%, haha. and yeah, it was in the princeton reviews 5 worst schools for student happiness. great education, but unless you love engineering, it's probably not the fit for you.
 
different places fit different people, plus they have one of the highest strating salaries for graduates

Don't hate on California. Just become some spikey haired douche is from ca doesn't mean they all suck. There are far more shitty peole from the east coast. There are douchebag frat kids in every state, ca just has a large population, but equal douches per capita. But there are a shit ton of frat fags at Boulder.
 
sorry i just have to add that a very high percentage of the kids from So Cal are douche bags. They are loud and all they talk about is themselves.

Alright, first of all let me straighten this out-

1- There are a lot of tools in Boulder. I freely admit it. Lots of these people (read: tools) are from southern California. Some are from shitty places on the east coast like New Jersey. I've had very few good experiences with people from SoCal that go to school here in Boulder. Luckily, most of these people are in the greek scene and they stick to themselves. Unfortunately, I still have to see the mediocre looking SoCal girls with ugg boots, big sunglasses, denalis/tahoes (why are there so many damn denalis from california around here?), and piece of shit little frou frou dogs. Honestly, if you aren't that good looking in the first place, huge sunglasses and ugg boots aren't going to do anything but make you look stupid. If you are attractive, the fact that you wear ugg boots and huge sunglasses makes you unattractive.

2- If you aren't getting good weed in Boulder you don't know the right people. Good weed is extremely easy to come by, and if you know the right people you can get deals on great weed at $40-$45 an eighth.

3- There are a lot of people here in Boulder that are all about the on mountain fashion show of trying to look good and act like they are super badass skiers (read: Boulder Freeride). Many of these people aren't actually that good at skiing and will drink/smoke themselves retarded over waking up and skiing 3 feet of powder. I don't mind them so much, it leaves more fresh tracks for me.

4- College is all about who you get to know. If you get swallowed up into the party scene, what do you expect to get out of it? If you seek out people with similar interests to you, then you are going to have an awesome time.

5- There are some solid groups of skiers in Boulder who camp in snowcaves, go on hut trips, and hike for fresh tracks in remote places several days a week. Don't forget that the Indian Peaks overlook Boulder and have some incredible backcountry skiing. We'll spend the night at a hut in the Indian Peaks, wake up and ski down to get to class on time.

 
Haha, yes i have to agree with that very much. though i have not done much hiking for my turns, i love skiing the BC, loveland pass and Burthoud pass. I wanna get a sled or two, that would be so nice. and ya weed is easy to get, it is a little pricey though. but you pay for what you get.
 
An engineering degree from CU is actually better than an engineering degree from mines unless it’s in petroleum engineering. My friends brother absolutely hated his college experience at mines. He said if he could do it over again he would go to CU instead.
 
when i lived in the rado.. i was in lead vegas i was paying 45- 50 and 8th. the times i went to boulder i did not buy weed... but if you were going for the oz.. it was like 320... not bad in the rado .. pretty shitty i think though

Yes I am from SOCAOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it is the best place in the world if your from there and understand the city its amazing everything you could ask for especially for someone between the ages of 18 and 30!!! Yes we have traffic ! who cares ! theres a beach 20 min away sick mountains 2-4 hrs away! Clubs(hollywoodd) chicks are the hottest (not the rejects) San Diego is the best for that!Oh yeah OG KUSH !!! and Canibis Clubs!!! I lived there for 20 years and never saw or new what shwagg was!! (dont think i spelled that right even) The weather is never below 40 degrees!

People dont like Kids from SOCAL because we talk about it so much and often not intended compare Cali and state why its better there... Like i just did not hating on colorado which has a lot to offer you just have to find what that is and some cali Kids dont give it a chance but Colorado is one of 5 places in this country worth living.

I live in Fort Collins and spend lots of time in boulder and love both towns as well as SOCAL Kids and to everyone who cant stand us SOCAL people then fcuk You!
 
leadville weed over boulder weed? are you serious? some good weed comes from the mountains (breck) but most of that shit sux ass.
 
why would you want to live where it never snows? and just the attitude that people from cali (socal especially) bring just sucks. and since when is good skiing like 2 hours away? mammoth is like 5 hours away from and youhave to drive across the state to get to it. and tahoe is even farther away from socal. and you can't exactly cal snow summit and big bear great skiing, they have a good park, but it's not worth it for anything else.
 
EXACTLY! its the fucking attitude that yells "i'm from socal, and im automatically better than you because i have way more money and where i live is better."

Oh, and kev - im in the boulder freeride office right now....hahaha
 
Well it isn't that I don't like Boulder Freeride as a whole, it just seems like that is where a lot of shitty skiers and boarders end up in it. They do offer good hookups on trips and stuff, I'll give them that. And there are some cool people in it, like Kaite for instance.
 
There are some really cool people up in Boulder, but there is plenty more posers; kids who try to act really rich (who really aren't) and kids who think they are the shit (who are straight up fags). I still think boulder is a lot of fun but most people are indeed fags.
