Bought dad first set of twins for X-mass.

so i wanted to get my dad a set of twins for xmass.. All he rides is Salomon & Atomic (race skis). So i was looking for a set of twins that would shred some classic all mountain turns, stiff not buttery, good progressive shape. I ended up going with the new Atomic Devients, they apear to be everything i was looking for. (never thought I'de ask this but...) Anyone rip Atomic?
 
no atomic for me but thats a great idea...get dad some twins. heck, get him going off 50 ft. booters too...
 
I had those but i sold them. They were really light and very soft. So i dont know how good they would be if he is used to all mountain carving skis.
 
theres a dad at the mt i ride who is dope. His sons younger and hes normaly in the park with him. He pushes him but keeps it fun, pretty chill guy.
 
i would definately look at a pair of prophet 80's or 90's....sick sick all-mountain twins, impress your dad so he gets psyched and won't feel bad about buying you skiing shit. i dunno about silencers though....aren't they a park ski?
 
i want to get my mom some twins..maybe an aeryx suit to go with that too I'm pretty sure that would be ill
 
^they are a slimmed down public enemy, so not park specific but they would work well in both settings I would think, depending a lot on mounting.
 
haha yeah my dad got some Pocket Rockets, and now he says they are worst than his race skis in pow because he skis pow in the front seat with racer technique ahaha
 
ha i taught my dad to slide boxes last year lol, he wasnt bad either. but they were mad when he brought back the rental skis with huge chunks out of the bottoms of them from sliding of the sides of the box and catching on the metal lol..
 
I havn't rode Atomic so i wouldn't know. But i have riddin head and i think u should go with a pair of mojos cause they are alot stiffer so it might be easier to get use to.
 
no I ride with my weight centered. I mean he rides it with his boots super flexed and weight super far foward, plus hes skiing on Pocket Rockets, so of course hes gonna dive.
 
I skied most of this years twins at demo days last year and loved the guns, but they are a huge jump from race skis. I would say foils or scratch fs. takes way more effort to turn a gun and he probably wouldn't like them.
 
i have atomic race skis and i love them..never skied atomic twins, im sure they are good, atomic is a solid company.

Why is everyone giving him suggestions? He already said he "ended up" with a pair of Atomic Deviants...meaning he already bought them.

I think thats a sick gift, hopefully he'll love them.
 
lol, stupid time to ask if you've already got 'em. But whoever said silencers, I think they are like park specific pretty much, he'd be better off with PE's. Or you could always get some AK Enemys :P

bob rips on his b2s, straight up. slays the 180 in the mini park, prolly gonna be slaughtering some rails this year. doesnt even need twintips to land switch.
 
my dad god some of the volkl mantras..not totally twin tipped like half kinda haha, idk how to explain it
