Boston Ski Expo

i'm working at mt bradfords booth friday night!!

ill probably be wearing my 'I am a skier shirt' or peacecoast shirt!

oh and ill definitely be droppin by bern, snatch some stickers and such!
 
Anyone have more info on it? Is it worthwhile going, I don't really wanna drive an hour up to Boston if it's just gonna be a letdown.
 
ill be working all weekend for ski market. its worth going theres gonna be a lot of real good deals. last years fujatives for $125. thats a damn good deal. and tons of free stuff from vendors and lift ticket discounts. stop by a ski market or check the newspaper for $3 of coupons.
 
yeah so the fujatives were like 225.00... not 150.00, still a good deal, but no blowout sales or anything.... it was packed yesterday, bern helmets were flying out left and right...
 
my bad on the fujatives. that was the rumor around the shop. there are some good deals there. theres a ton of orage master collection marked way down. last years karmas were sold for 295. scratch sparyers fs are going for 225. ill be workin the ski wall all day.

i was working the twin tip section. heres what weve got left. rossi sprayer fs. chronics and chronic blends. trouble makers and nothing but troubles. 1 pair of AR6 a few pairs of thalls. lots of seth vicious. foils, guns, and thruster. fujatives and public enemys.

too bad i got my ass handed to me by a ten year old in that game over in the left corner.
 
I showed up today. It was nice to see a majority of the northeast mountains showcasing their parks and pipes. At least half the TV screens were showing coverage from last year's events.
 
i was there today. i had fun...i walked in went right to the nashoba table and won a free lift ticket! then i got my sis a jacket for xmas for $77!!!
 
wow way to bring back last years thread on the expo...i was so confused as i was reading the posts.....
 
my friend was there last night. he said it was wicked shitty. the landing was a rug and the rails were set up bad. he said in the hour that he was their, 3 people got injured.
 
Thats a first, I guess if you want to call the synthetic snow astro turf they are building terrain parks out of in europe rugs then you'd probably be right. as for three kids getting hurt if you want to include rug burn as injuries then you'd be right there too, I thought kids on the east coast would be tougher than to call scraping your arm an injury. Everyone else around the country seems to do fine on it.
The only way its different than from every other stop is there is no quarter pipe, and the roof is a little low in one spot so you have to duck for a second. But if you want to complain about a rail jam that drove across the country so you guys could ride for free thats your prerogative. Anyone else who isn't afraid of Rug burn we are doing a best trick jam session tonight for $50 bucks you come and ride for free the best trick thrown tonight will earn you $50. Saturday is a qualifier event for our finals at SIA in Vegas, where we will be signing the winning skier and snowboarder on DNA's Pro team as well as a sign on bonus. the U15 and Female best trick winners will get a spot on the DNA Am team and a cash prize.

that set up looks so epic, i wish I had my skis in boston. My mom won't drive them to me, so weak, oh well I'll stop by and check it out.
 
No worries I just wanted to set people straight, whoever told you that missinformed you and I didn't spend 5 days solid in a truck to let some rumor make me missing skiing on snow in Utah a total waste. Hope to see you all there!
Shout out to the kids shredding tonight 630 off and one kid 270'd on both ways, kids were gettin ill.
 
The comp today was pretty sick, some of the skiers were throwing down. 630 off was sweeeeeeeeeet.

Oh, and I was there, but I wasn't wearing anything in particular for anyone to have noticed me and I wasn't skiing.

 
Same thing tommorow, come one come all. its free and it is another qualifier for vegas, I never thought I would say this but a kid backflipped off of one of the rails tonight and I was stoked. that place blew up. normally I'm not a big fan of circus tricks but that was legit. Stop by and say hi, I'm the kid in the ugly yellow beanie on the mic.
 
Saturday Nick Miles won overall ski with 270 on both ways, and backflip off the roller coaster to seal the deal in head to head battle.
Ben Smith won u-15 (under 15 best trick) with 270 switch up 270 out, and switch on pretzel 2 out of both the roller coaster and the cannon rail. he took second over all in the ski contest homeboy kills it.
Clayton Villa took third also spinning both ways onto the flat down, as well as some super sick K feds and JT's on the cannon and a 630 out earlier in the comp. it was truly neck and neck through out the contest and it all came down to who landed the best tricks at the right moment.
