Boston Jib Park

im in, boston also has illllll handrails so i dont care that much, it will just give cops more reason to kick us out of rails

that would be dope. i'm down.

maybe it should be permanently set up with turf. in the winter when its snows its bitchin. in the summer summer its BYOS.

isn't there an outdoor rink in boston somewhere (not the frogpond)? like near the jamiacaway?

even though this was my original idea and i fully support trying to make it happen I have to agree... I'd be suprised if this actually happens because of boston's inability to get anything done.

1 mil dollar skatepark plan for under the bridge? Where did that go? i had many friends highly involved in that and i know they had collected something like $600,000

i think the best plan would to try and convert a local hill into a jib park for the witner with a small toe rope even

I know that Lars Anderson Park in brookline used to have a T bar like 30 years ago, its definatly big enough for a full line of jibs and a jump or 2

You could always buy a big warehouse insulate the shit out of it buy like ten industrial snow guns and blast alot of snow. I bet you could make it all year round if you insulatated it well

it would just be a big cooler with rails

isnt that park nearing completion?? i mite be rong but i thot i just heard somethin about that shit on the radio or some shit

sounds like a crazy idea, so crazy it just may be possible. i dont know how i could help out but it sounds like just the thing boston needs. count me in.

a t bar would be too much money, space and liability even. you can get gas powered rope tows, that kill gas, but they work really well and are super easy. a rope tow and some jibs wouldnt be hard, just getting enough snow in boston to sesh would be the problem

Great idea! It's something we should all support, even if we live to far away to ever enjoy it. Any one got pictures from the parks in Denver or Portland?

My friend is working on that project. They are just still raising money. It takes a while to raise 1 million $$, but it is by no means gone. Its just going to take some time. So everyone should get the rents to donate to that shit if you live near boston.

that sounds like a pretty good idea, boston is the perfect place to put one too since its pretty much right in the middle of the ec
