Boston Filming (Street/Urban) 2023/2024

Hey Team,

I recently moved back to my home city of Boston. I've been "away" from skiing for almost 10 years since leaving Colorado and moving to a beach town in California. I am a freelance filmmaker and photographer, and am absolutely dying to film some skiing (ideally street, given the weather) this winter.

In a perfect world, I could help with scouting, digging and filming at street spots in the area... although I'm really open to anything and any level of involvement. If I had enough footage, and a story, I would love to make a film on my own... however, adding shots to an ongoing project would be good with me, too!

Lastly, if you ride in New England at all and have been looking for a dedicated video/photo guy in the park or whatever... I might be your guy! Shoot me a message, either here or Instagram, and we'll start talking!

I’ve been posting spots around Boston in the “Post a street spot you’ve found” thread; some basic stuff I’m planning on riding, some stuff that I’d love to see a better skier or rider hit.

just followed on IG and can send over spots

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. I've actually been logging some spots too, I took a few reference pictures of a couple spots yesterday and that's what prompted the post. I'll reach out on the gram!

I'll be back in New England for a long Christmas break, if boston gets snow I'd come up and we could hit some stuff, have some friends who live on the hill who I think would be down as well

I'm from Maine but I have a place to stay in Boston. If the snow happens on a weekend or during break I'd make the trip down.

Sounds good, I've started to build a decent list of spots, but any additions are welcome. Same with people/crew. Shoot me a message on Instagram @tuckerhoranmedia so we're connected over there.

Awesome, honestly, if you have spots in ME and you want to get something going up there and the snow is right, I'm down to make a drive up, too. Send me a DM on Instagram @tuckerhoranmedia

Central Maine is extremely good for street skiing, there is a reason why stept would do trips here. Good consistent snowpack, lots of abandoned infrastructure like mills etc., and people are generally friendly and stoked on winter sports. Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston/Auburn, Waterville, Farmington, and Bangor are all full of spots

Threads for when it snows but i am old and washed

I'm 30 and I ski street all the time, most of the stuff I do is way less dangerous and difficult than what I do at the hill

Definitely! Some really iconic hits come from Maine, I just personally don’t have a list like I do for Boston. Any well planned locations are totally welcomed.

If anyone is really hungry for clips and really serious about getting shots, I’m more than willing to drive!

I found a really good long ass down rail in downtown bangor w natural run up.
