Boring god damn edits.

So,

Im starting to get real tired and bored of some ski edits, seems like a lot of what were seeing now is just park edits with one jump in which we see said skier hit 20 times in a row with a slightly different camera angle, also, all the tricks thrown are either doubles or triples with the occasional rare 360. No laid out backys, no front flips, no rodeos. I guess people only seem to be concerned with difficulty of tricks now a days rather than how stylish or awesome they look, or even some sick camera angles, i don't see too many crazy rad camera angles too often.

Anyways, what do you guys think?

Are edits moving in the wrong direction?

Are people to concerned with being able to out spin each other?

Personally i'd like to see more stylish and fun edits like this one where they got some crazy awesome camera angles and a half decent beat to go with the edit:

Seems like you could apply that logic to everything. Commercials, clothes, Marvel movies. You are saying you hate most edits because they seem like they are all the same.

So sure, the ones you like (and most other people too) are the the ones that are unique and showcase something a bit different. An example in the past week would be that Granite Peak/Aggressive Alpine skiing edit. Solid tricks on sketchy skis and downright unique. There have been recent edits with toned-down tricks with amped up style that have really been upvoted as well. But a triple is a triple.

So yeah...

Yeah I miss the old nostalgia I feel from watching edits like so far so hood and I feel ghood. However I also love the new technology that is coming into edits which allow pros to make Hollywood like edits.
