Hello NS,

I need really fast results for this survey for class. It's about eating in restaurants, casual family restaurants in particular. Your data is VALUABLE to me!!!

After you fill it out, reply to this thread and you just might win an extra special secret prize.

interesting survey. I see what you're doing, it's pretty cool but it could take away some of the service that people woud want in a restaurant.

This. I think it would be kind of awkward to go to a restaurant and have to order all my food through a screen... it would be like I was doing more work than I should have to.

I also see it from the standpoint of the server as well, the tips are where you make the big money and taking away the face-to-face communication with the customers would more than likely result in being tipped quite a bit less.

I'd start thinking a robot is making my food, then I'd bust out some mimery on that tables ass

done, interesting idea but i think people like ordering food from a human being. especially old people lol they hate robots and computers and shit

done. i think its an interesting idea, but i think that the jobs that restaurants create are more important.

i personally like chatting with the servers. getting to know them and being nice gets good service. also these jobs are great for a person like myself (17 years old) who needs money for school. and not for an older person who fixes, builds and installs the machines.

the whole touch screen may also ruin any ambiance in the restaurant. I think technology is taking over way too much.

Done. Just went to Eastside Mario's for the first time ever yesterday. Prior to that I wouldn't have even known what it was or that it was a chain. Food was actually pretty good. Waitress was nice, although did not remove dishes that we were done with as promptly as I would have liked. Still tipped more than 15%. I'd saved enough on tips from a waiter the previous week at a different restaurant who addressed me as Boss several times during my meal. You will NOT address me as Boss or Champ. If you address me, address me as Sir. Or I get to save a lot on the tip. Your choice Chief.

Done. You had the survey awfully tilted towards your idea... so I wrote that I don't enjoy fat waiters/waitresses in that section.
