SUPER RAD!! i was really impressed, the set up was well maintained (especially considering how many jibbers were out) and all the features were a ton of fun. the snow reminded me of the east coast, but that was expected. thanks guys! see ya friday.
super funtastic!!!! thanks for keepin that stuff well maintained. i can't even imagine how many peeps are gonna be there this weekend. still gonna be a blast though.
If you didn't notice we were hauling snow over to the beginner magic carpet. Hopefully that will help with the crowds this weekend with ski school getting their own area. Tomorrow we are hauling snow to where the mini stall wall was set up. We really want to set up another 2 or 3 features over there that can just be hiked. I think the kids that know better would appreciate a semi private area away from the run that will be most likely packed with the typical Boreal weekend crowd. I don't think we will change much else for this weekend just becasue it is forecasted to be in the 50's everyday. But when the colder temps return...WATCH OUT! Things will change fast...The new staircase will make its debut next week!
Hey..big thanks to everyone who came out and had fun. The vibe has been so good these first two days.
there weren't many gapers, everyone was legit and stuff, i was just sayin that there was a big turnout. this weekend may be a different story though so thanks god for that little strip you guys trucked in.
YES, thank god, that staircase looked awesome at Jibassic. oh yeah, the vibe was so much better than last years first 2 days, thanks for doing whatever you did.
Thanks so much.... I had a blast today (2nd day open).. my only complaint would be the crowds on the landings.. but what can ya do.. it wasn't bad at all.. i had so much fun and i can't wait to go again. everyone was super chill to each other also...
ya i was there on day 2. had so much fun. probly best first day of season yet. park staff did an awesome job of maintaining things! this weekend might be a bit crazy, but ill still be there sat
ya, the first day was fun, thanks though to eric for filling the landings, and looking for my keys. But ya, I think what you guys did with that amount of snow was awesome. it shows to, everyone was stoked to ride Breal
i thought that boreal did about as good as they could do. i can imagine that would be really difficult to deal with that many people because it was nuts how crowded it was. anyways had fun cant wait until we get more snow
cross your fingers and hope to die....looks like this tempture inversion is going to break soon...we could see temps in the mid teens at 7300' by tuesday night.
hope our expensive weather service isn't pulling our leg cause we are just itching to get those guns back up a blowing.
In that situtation they did everything they could but you just can't keep up with it. We could close or you could go to norhtstar..heard they have no mud right now!
my bad and I completely understand, I was just kidding though, I talked to one of the park guys and he said the same thing, I was just laughing because everyone with tall t's and white jackets were getting pissed off.
